A 28-year-old man from Mathura made his wedding memorable by arranging a blood donation camp at the venue
The groom , Amit Goyal who has been donating blood for the past few years, had decided to donate blood on his wedding day too. He asked his family members and friends to donate blood instead of giving gifts to the couple on their special day
Goyal said that he wanted to do something different during his wedding celebrations and spread a message in the society to work for social cause and help needy people.
“I am very happy today that my life partner Anjali and my family members supported me to do this noble work. I want to appeal to the people to donate blood and save the lives of those in need,” he said.
Initially the groom donated blood at the camp and later other guests came forward to donate. A total of 21 units blood was donated on this occasion.
