Gujarat: Eunuchs give it back to society from their savings
Eunuchs in Godhra and Vadodara are going from door-to-door to distribute food or supplying it to the needy ones through NGOs since the lockdown came into effect.
“We do not have any businesses and the money that we have is of the society. So today since the society is in need, we are only giving it back but in different form,” said Kalpana Kunwar of Baranpura.
Eunuchs in Godhra started distributing grains, milk, water and other essential items in slums from Saturday.
Puja Kunwar from Godhra said they have distributed food and grains in 300 houses in two days and are planning to reach out to many more.
