Why everyone says breakfast is the most important meal of the day?

Do you guys know how the term “breakfast” is invented?

The clue for why breakfast is supposed to be important is in it’s name.While after having a good night sleep of 6-7 hours, our body has basically fasted for some time and when we wake up we should eat or drink something which helps our body become functional to get started with the day. The term called “breakfast” has come up of this concept only which most of us don’t know. Since our body doesn’t consume anything after dinner until we wake up the next morning, our body is famished. Having consumed the energy from last night’s meal, we need to recharge our battery, which is on a low level now. So, just a cup of tea doesn’t suffice.

Starting your day with a nutritious breakfast kick-starts your metabolism and provides fuel for your body and brain which is most needed. Eating a balanced breakfast helps to up our energy, as well as provide protein and calcium used throughout the night.

Skipping breakfast may work for you for a day, but it is not a sustainable choice. A good breakfast gives you  much-needed fuel to function through the day. By skipping it, you’ll likely to suffer from a drop in energy, if not on day 1, but definitely by day 7.Do you provide the nutrition to our body which we need in the early morning to charge up for the full day ahead? There’s a big question mark there. Your best bet is to have a mix of foods that have carbohydrates, protein, healthy fats, and fiber. whipping up a healthy breakfast, which has all this nutrition, is no rocket science.

  • consumes less fat throughout the day
  • improve your productivity 
  • consumes more vitamins and fibers
  • reduce starving or overeating

  • less likely to meet recommendations for fruit and vegetable consumption
  • chances to consume unhealthy snack is more
